This is a list of some of my favorite reads, it doesn’t have to be this year or last year, but if I had to make a most recommended and books I could reread over and over again these books would be in that category.
The title will be linked to the review I had created for them. If you have others you think I may enjoy make sure you comment and let me know what they are and we can discuss it or I will check it out! Cant wait to hear from you and find out your thoughts!
Caraval by Stephanie Garber – Absolutely loved this read, I was one of the luck ones that got to read it before it came out. I was so excited when OwlCrate also did it, cause I got to have a signed copy, a note from the author, and all the other tidbits they add. Now Legendary is coming out within the next year. I CANT WAIT. (Rereading it before rewriting my review for it… its coming soon)
The Designer by Marius – This was an amazing read, read it in one day, and couldn’t put it down. I had received it for free through a GoodReads Giveaway from Amazon. Originally I had passed it up the month before but once I finally started reading it, I couldnt put it down. I absolutely loved it and is a must read.
Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia – This book had SO MANY FEELS… and so many layers. The author expertly weaved a story that involved anxiety disorders, and introverts, and web gaming communities for those obsessed with them. I also recieved this in my OwlCrate which awesome cause they have crazy good taste in books and bookish items.
Roseblood by A.G. Howard – This book was wow.. Its a retelling or more like a “what happened after” Phantom of the Opera. I went into this book not ever reading or watching the show or play or book. After this book…. I watched it, and now in my gaming community I wrote a character that was similar or more like a “What if” the Phantom of the Opera took in someone and vampires and etc. Maybe Ill redo it into a book. (Rereading it before rewriting my review for it… its coming soon)
Heartless by Marissa Meyer – This book. TALK. ABOUT. FEELS. OMG. Its a book that is the backstory for a villain, the Queen of Hearts. I could not put it down and I have a soft spot for a good villain backstory. Its a must read and just like in a movie when you know someone shouldn’t go through a door or do something, I was begging her not to do the same. Note: My cover is different then you would find in stores cause through OwlCrate it was an exclusive cover (Rereading it before rewriting my review for it… its coming soon)
