Just a little note…..

Hi, My name is Tracie. I can’t just say that I love to read, I mean I do. But I absolutely am addicted to it. I currently over well over 400 physical copies, not counting Audibles or eBooks. I tend to say I am addicted to reading, and collecting the books that I own. I have just started in this blogging world, and getting to know other bookish people like myself. It has been so much fun getting to know them, and discussing bookish things that I cannot normally do with some of the people I know.

I just recently turned 31 and am married to an amazing man, who is my best friend and who is an avid gamer (which helps with my reading time). We have 3 kids. Some of my hobbies other than reading is, collecting M&M stuff, am also a gamer(when I am in the mood), painting and also learning new arts and crafts. But nothing compares to having that book in my lap and getting lost in another time and place.

What I Read

Mainly… I love my YA books. Although I do not limit myself to such. I do love some adult books and even read along with my oldest some of her Middle Grade books. My favorite would have to be fantasy. Other genres you could find me reading would be horror, paranormal romance, contemporary romance, science fiction, thrillers, dystonia and suspense/mystery.

I favor Multiple POV’s because I don’t want to know just one characters POV. I want to know them all! I want complicated plots with a well thought out and descriptive world, with well written, well-rounded characters I fall in love with or even hate. I want endings that don’t always end well and have twists and turns that keep me on my toes.

I currently participate in subscription boxes, (OwlCrate, Uppercase and a few more to come), and are apart of its book club, on both GoodReads and Facebook. When I write a review I keep track and put them here on this blog, but also on Audible (if I own the digital copy) and also on GoodReads. I like to network and get to know readers and authors and I have always wanted to blog and review those books. So why not combine them and try my hand at it. I am extremely blunt and if I don’t like a book I am not afraid to say so.
